this (presumably) homeless man walked onto my train and dropped down to his knees...then did something surprising...he pulled a bunch of scrunched up money out of his pockets and started to straighten it out and count it...he had a good $25-$30.
part of the conservatory garden central park, 5th avenue around 106th street...you can't walk on the grass.
my parents came to nyc for thanksgiving...the first time my parents visited me (and my brother) on a holiday, does that mean i'm a grown up now?
the rare radio show number twenty-?? (dj emskee, center). rare dance music from the 70's to present, midnight to 5 am every few months...and rumor is that they haven't repeated a single over the span of twenty-something five hour shows...
it was probably about 60 degress when i took this photo...not the 27 that it is now...
these fat birds don't seem to fly much (well, i guess they migrate and all) so/but i was psyched to catch this one mid wing-flap.
the city view at dusk was really nice from the loft/studio where this event was held (39th and 10th?)...the event featured hip hop from stockholm and soul from brighton...
