Syd Barrett R.I.P.

Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd died recently. He left the group fairly early (1968) after writing most of their first album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. One of his solo albums, The Madcaps Laughts has been sitting in my iTunes (unlistened to) 2 1/2 years. I guess now's the time...

The trivia I didn't know was that the album "Wish You Were Here" and the song "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" are both about/dedicated to him.
